Frequently Asked Questions

Is my Cricket Club committed to any initial expense?

The only commitment is the £50.00 deposit that will be returned when 5 or more members purchase a print of your Cricket Club. You will appreciate that although we are not asking anyone to commit to purchasing one of the prints before they see the finished Limited Edition there is quite an initial investment by us. All we are asking is that your Committee is in favour and this small returnable deposit shows us that you believe there is sufficient interest as we proceed.

Our Cricket Committee likes the idea. What happens next?
David will contact you to arrange a visit and take photographs during one of your home matches! The original painting is then completed and Miles will produce the Giclée
Limited Editions. The prints are signed and mounted and a selection of the Standard Size and Full Size Limited Editions are delivered to you to view and purchase. A framed example will also be available to study and orders can be placed for this and additional mounted reproductions.

What are Giclée prints?
Giclée digital printing is recognized by publishers worldwide as a standard bearer for high quality reproduction of artists' work in a wide range of media. It is particularly suited
to fine art works, such as watercolour as it faithfully reproduces the often subtle variations of colour of the original source. The reproductions are printed on to conservation
grade 100% cotton rag archival watercolour paper.

How many Limited Edition prints are produced of our Cricket Club?
The edition is restricted to just 95 prints. Within that number we will offer two different image sizes. Depending on the proportions of the original the Standard Edition will be approximately 11 inches long. A Full Size Edition will be around 17 inches long - closely matching the dimensions of the original watercolour. Nine Artist's Proofs, produced as a quality control are retained by the publisher until the edition is no longer available.

How much do the prints cost and what is the donation you make to my Cricket Club?
Please click on the Prices Tab above to view the details. We will give 10% of the mounted price of each print sold to your cricket club.

Is the original painting available to purchase?
Yes. The original watercolour can be purchased . Double mounted for £275.00 or double mounted and framed £295.00.

How are the Limited Edition prints presented?
The prints are available as a mounted or framed edition. Our house style is a conservation grade archival ivory-white mount, single for the smaller print and double-mounted for
the larger edition. All mounted prints have a conservation quality backing board and are cellophane shrink-wrapped for protection. Our chosen frame style is an attractive, hand finished
oak moulding that compliments the Giclée print and mount perfectly. Each print is presented with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed and dated by the artist and publisher.

The Limited Edition prints you purchase will be delivered free to your Cricket Club. Individually mailed prints to another address may incur nominal postage costs.
